Kyloe Partners is delighted to welcome Stephen Shorter as new CFO.

Kyloe Partners strengthens leadership team with new Chief Financial Officer

Kyloe Partners, the Orkney-headquartered recruitment technology company, has appointed Stephen Shorter, an Orcadian and resident in Stromness, as its new Chief Financial Officer. Stephen joined the business on 1 July and will broaden the leadership team working closely with the Co-Founders, taking on the operational finance and HR responsibilities from Simone Pennie

Stephen brings 12 years of experience at Cobalt Recruitment, an award-winning international recruiter across finance, property and construction, where he served first as Chief Financial Officer and later as Chief Executive Officer. He knows the recruitment sector well and has served on the Representative Committee of APSCo, the trade body for the UK professional staffing industry.

Raymond Pennie, Co-Founder and CEO of Kyloe Partners, said:

“Stephen understands our sector inside out, and he understands the pace at which we need to move. Having someone who has led finance and operations in a business like ours, who already knows Kyloe well and who understands the challenges our clients face makes a real difference. I'm delighted to welcome him to the team.”

“Kyloe was the only place I wanted to go after Cobalt. I believe in Raymond and the team's ability to make sense of the technological change sweeping recruitment right now, and there's something special about helping an ambitious, Orkney-based tech business thrive on the global stage."

Kyloe Partners is headquartered in Orkney where the majority of staff are based, alongside operations across the UK, US and APAC.
