A Sys Admin (short for Systems Administrator) looks after the company’s computers and online systems, helping to make sure everyone has the tools they need to do their jobs properly.
A large part of my role is supporting my colleagues with any IT related issues. This could be fixing a laptop problem, setting up new accounts, or helping to provide the tools and services required for our client project work. I also work a lot in cybersecurity, helping to protect Kyloe from online threats, and ensuring we are compliant with various security standards.
We are constantly innovating, so there’s always something new to learn. My experience has grown in so many areas since joining Kyloe! Managing cloud services like Azure and AWS is probably the biggest area where my own experience has grown.
There’s a strong community atmosphere at Kyloe and a real sense that the company cares about it’s employees. Everyone works together. Not only is this good for morale, it also helps us innovate faster when different teams help each other out.
