"Here's what I learned:
1) Not all data is relevant, if it doesn't provide insight or isn't a legal requirement - bin it. That candidate CV from 1987? Not business critical.
2) You get what you pay for. True expertise can sometime feel more expensive in the beginning, but the added value pays off in the long run. We chose Kyloe and without their expertise and guidance the project simply wouldn't have happened.
3) By not using your CRM religiously, to its maximum potential, you're probably leaving millions of opportunities on the table and not delivering true value to your customers The competitive advantage of a well-oiled, well coded, and widely adopted CRM in your recruitment business could be the difference between success and failure.
4) Not all CRMs are created equally - we met with and thoroughly reviewed 10 suppliers. The majority felt stale, with not much innovation since the last time I did this in 2015. We felt Bullhorn was best fit for us - make sure you see them all and review what is right for now and into the future.
5) This brings me to final point - it is essential you go with a provider that has world class training and support. You're going to need it and as most recruiters don't employ system admins/analysts or engineers, without great support you won't maximize the potential and will likely end up with a very expensive filing cabinet!"
