What does your role include?
My role includes social media, the website, writing blog posts and creating content.
What are you most looking forward to at Kyloe?
I'm looking forward to getting to know the team better, and seeing what Lauren [Marketing Manager] has in store for me.
What brought you to Kyloe?
In 2020 I was studying for my masters in International Fashion Marketing, but when the lockdown happened I came back home to Orkney. Then this job came up at Kyloe and it was a great opportunity to work for a global company in marketing in Orkney.
What is something new that you tried in lockdown?
Something new that I tried was actually candle making. I wanted a hobby that meant I wasn't going to be on my phone or looking at screens all day and I actually started a small business out of it so it ended up keeping me very busy.
3 tips for keeping up mental health in lockdown?
Just make sure you're getting outside for some fresh air, do some exercise even if it's just a 10 minute home workout, and don't get sucked into negative social media - if it's getting too much just log off!
